Sounds pretty cool, I'm intrigued by the program you mentioned, the "PHP Guild Managment Sys". Any info you can shed on that now?

Thanks,

the beta version is accesable from the left nav menu at www.MEKclan.net/mek but I am not sure what levels of access the devs have granted to the public, but if u register, you can access the whole thing, or whats done so far, they are working on the item database now, the toon profile database is pretty much done, and the content parts are done sence they only require simple html pages droped into the apropriate folders, which get called up inside the module as pages, like the guild charter, ranking section, ect.

A few GLs from Starsider are discussing the creation of a Guild Leader/Politician Org web site. It would be a specialty web site like SWG Resources, accept completly dedicated to the insainly indepth political sys inside SWG. The site would include guides, forums, a monthly PA related comic strip, a downloads section including the very versatile and complete PHP Guild Managment Sys created by MEK's programers with a few diff skins to suit diff types of Guild Web Site. Would there be support in the PA community for site like this?

I'd like to get our programmers working on either a flash or php based program, much like the SWG-City Planner, except made for this new stie, and made to fill the short comings of the old program. We are thinking possibly building a more asethic program that allows city planners to include statues, fountains, and also have it spit out copy pastable waypoints for each lot, basically the four corners, so potential citizens can easily place their structures without inadvertantly violating the city plan. MEK uses this sys for all our cities, and it works very well, thanx Denier!

What other little flash or PHP tools you think would be helpful for a site deddicated the the GLs and Politicians of SWG?

Updated City planner is a good idea for sure.

Also the guild Management system you already spoke of is as well.

I'll see if I can think up anything else for it, but those are probably the biggest two things that would be the most beneficial to guild leaders / politicians.

Almost forgot, also in beta is a server status module, we will soon have it completed and on our site, so we will know when Starsider si down or up from our own site, will try and make it work for our EQ2 branch as well so they can monitor Mistmoore.

For the server status, you may want to provide a list of all of the servers, or the info in the readme on how to customize it for each guilds individual server.

good idea, all the servers would take up too much screen room, if its a module we make available for use by the GL/Politicians Asoc Site, I'm sure the admin menu will have an easy to use drop down selection of servers.

I informed them of the enthusiasm, and they decided to get started right away, we will disclose the address in about one month if things go as planned, Cannar will be making the graphics skin, and our programers will be doing the rest, current Xon of our SWg branch is the lead, and Belarka of our EQ2 branch and a few others will help out at least with the modules them selves.

We'll need a comic person to provide strips for the monthly comic strip feature. comics should be SWG Social related, meaning about guilds, groupings, cities, or the political side of the GCW. The more the marrier, but aviously we'll be seeking talented stuff.

The Guild managment module will be available right away, followed by the server status module, and a few months later the new SWG city planner.

This will be your site, sort of a UN of all guilds and cities for all galxies, and a one stop shop for any needed resources to aid in the social engines of this great game.
