Hello - Looking for answers or solutions to the guild situation I have described below:
I am a guild leader and since the CU I have had several player leave the game. However, those of us who stayed and learned to adapt found ourselves in a guild that the numbers have been significantly reduced. In talking with some fellow guild leaders who have experienced the same problem, we decided to merge our guilds (3 in total).
I am hoping to find out the best way to do this. We decided to create a new guild name and we were hoping to not have to disband the legacy guilds if possible. So can a current guild leader run for guild leader of other guilds and then just change the name? Guess I am looking for solutions as we are trying to avoid disbanding for those players who only come on once in a while. So they don't log in to find that their guild has disbanded.
Has anyone tried to run for guild leader of another guild while still guild leader of a different one? Any ideas on how to consolidate without having to disband.
I appreciate any insight or ideas you may have.
Thanks.

You can only run for guild leader from a guild you belong to. If you want to merge with another guild, just have all members be in one. Then change the name at the guild management terminal.

There is no way to 'merge' guilds together. All members of the other 2 guilds will have to join the third. You also can only run for leader of the guild you belong to and you may only be a member of one guild.
