i have no idea where to post this, but this forum is looking most close to this issue..
..so, please soe, make a correct Chat system, make it that you can create channels with password, not that moderated/invite only crap we have currently which is uber bugged!
we trying to set up a imperial chat, but it's just not possible to do it, either the chat servers are broken or there are bugs that prevent you from talking (even when you have moderator rights) .. another point is that you have to invite everyone first to get him into channel, how do you want to invite a whole faction? if it would be possible to invite guilds, just like you add them to ban list or entry lists like "guild:xxx", it would be a good start! but the best invention you could make with the chat system would be to create password covered channels, please soe, implement that!
