Thread: Does the leader have to place the PA hall?

Just to clarify, if I place it, then use transferstructure, I will still be leader?

Hell you can also just have someone come over from another server transfer the lot burden over to them and have them delete the character. Since your admin (and can remove the other guy from admin list) the hall will stay and noone gets penalized on their lots. Doing this is cheap and pretty crappy, which is why I haven't done it, but if the lots are a big deal to you it is an alternative. Although Tat halls can get decorated better thanks to them actually having stairs for the main room.

I was wondering if, as leader, you have to be the one to place the PA hall.

If you are starting a new PA then yes, the leader must be the one to drop the deed. It is supposed to be possible to change the leader later, but this is buggy and I wouldn't trust it yet. If you don't want the leader to carry the burden of the 7 or 9 PA Hall lots then have the Leader target a member who can carry the lots and type /transferstructure from inside the PA Hall after it is placed.
