Please correct me if I’m wrong here...

From what I understand the only way to aid another guild in a war, is for your guild to declare war on your Allies enemy. At that point they can accept or decline your war declaration.Could there not be an option where you declare one Guild as Allies and you get a message saying Your ally has declared war on "Inser Guild Here" guild… would you like to declare war as well Accept or Decline...

Alliances and Alliance Chat will go on our long list of requested features. Having Allies be informed of guildwars is a good idea too.

My two creds worth on allies...

Allies need to be implimented. While the above mentioned idea of automatically declaring war on an opposing guild of your ally is a good idea, tactically it would be fairly stupid for the opposing guild to declare war as well. While my Guild will go up against another guild without a second though, if that guild were to ask if they could bring in Big Brother to help them fight, of course I would say no to allowing their allies help them kick my butt!

However, if it were made to work like Group TEF's work, I think that would be a good solution. For example, Guild A and Guild B are at war. Guild C is allied with A. A scouting party from Guild B stumbles across a couple of members from Guild A, and start attacking. Guild A is putting up a heck of a fight, but is also loosing. But lo and behold, here comes a few members of Guild C. They witness the fighting, and Guild B is automatically designated as a targetable opponent and jump in the fight.

Now, if Guild B's scouting party hadn't encountered Guild A, but instead ran into Guild C, combat wouldn't take place, because of the Ally TEF (Which works as though they were grouped with a party member who was just attacked.)

That would make for some interesting scenarios. Cause suddenly, having a lot of allies actually means something other then "I have more friends then YOU do." Now you have safety simply hanging out with your allies. That, and this could also lead to some HUGE battles as a single Guild War between 2 guilds escalates when both guilds start calling in their allies to back them up. Suddenly you've got 20 guilds going at it in a HUGE battle! Coronet would NEVER be the same! :-)

Glad they are thinking about this. Our city is comprised of 2 guilds. Communication would have been easier if we had an alliance chat.
