Hi All:

1. What exactly do guild titles do?
2. Who else sees these titles?
3. Why do I get the error "This title is not allowed" for just about everything I try.

Thanks in advance.

Q: What exactly do guild titles do?

A: From what I can tell, they don't really do anything. They're just something to look at on the Guild Management Terminal.

Q: Who else sees these titles?

A: Only the people who looks at your Guild Management Terminal, and now I'm hearind something about a /guildstatus command that will show your title as well, but I'm not certain about that one, since I haven't personally tested it out yet.

Q: Why do I get the error "This title is not allowed" for just about everything I try.

A: Not a clue. Unless it's because you aren't the Guild Leader and don't have Permission to Set Titles for members of the guild. But if you are the Guild Leader, then I don't know what it is. Anyone else want a crack at answering that one?

/guildstatus will indeed show the Guild Title that has been set for the individual.

As for the errors you are getting when setting titles... There happens to be a very strict name filter applied to guild titles, I think it is the same one that applies to character names. So, it won't let you add things like "Officer" or "Architect" to the title, just like you can't make them your character name. Personally I think there needs to be a *separate* name filter for PA names and PA Titles. It is something I will bring up, but I will be bringing up a great deal of things so I have no clue if it can be fixed or when, despite feeling that it is important.
