This post expands on *"Revamp Guildwar to make it more customizeable and less exploitable" which was one of many suggestions in one of the stickies. Many people it seems would like changes to the guildwar system, the war feud suggestion is very good in my opinion. However i havent seen any mention in the stickies or on the board about a reward system
Before launch we were told that PA wars would be able to come with victory conditions and i believe rewards were also mentioned. If PA X lost to PA Y then PA X would gain 20000 credits of PA Y's money, this being a simple example. I'd like to put this suggestion foward once more, i found with the guild war i was in i wasnt fighting for anything and i had little incentive to kill the person who cloned a few minutes later especially seeing as some of the people i killed were the same faction as me so i gained no fp.
I'd like to start this idea of simply. I think if a system where a cash pot had to be put foward by each PA before the war and a victory condition set which could be measured in kills by each side then PA wars would be much more enticing. The idea would be that team X gets to a certain ammount of kills before team Y does there by winning the war and winning team Y's cash pot. This system encorages combat and gives PA's a reason to fight. Alternatively fp could be offered up instead of cash. the cahs or fp won could then be devided up amoungst the guild as the guild leader sees fit or automatically devided up amoungst the particapants.
Please tell me what you think of this idea. Thanx.

This is a low traffic forum. I blame the placement within the professions category. But I faught so hard just to get this forum to exist that I find it hard to complain.
As for rewards for in depth guildwar... It is on the plate for a meal we will eat sometime in the future. Right now "the basics" (better permissions system, MOTD, Guild Vault/Vendors, PA Hall issues) are all higher priority than guildwar enhancements according to the desires of people who have participated in this forum. When we get to the point where the developers will be enacting our suggestions on guildwar, we can talk about this subject much more in depth.
Until then feel free to brainstorm, unfortunately we can't expect anything to be implemented on this subject soon.

On braintstorming: for a guildwar I'd like to be able to set and enforce inclusion / exclusion zones.
The reason for asking, some guilds may want to include their cities in the fight, personally I would like the option for it to specifically exclude specified player cities. not every guild member is a PvPer or wishes to, and for the larger guilds that might agree to this rule up front - in practice enforcing it would be tough.

Just a quick thought. Perhaps when setting a Guild War one would be able to exclude certain members of their guild from the war. Not necessarily exclusion zones (I'm not quite sure if non-combat zones would be realistic), but perhaps a menu where you can exclude/include guild members.

Exactly, this is the #1 reason why I will not war any other guild. No guild is mature enough to agree to a non-combatants list. It would have to be something that was forced by a list as you suggest.
