Okay I was thinking about this today, I know you can declare a war on another guild and it cares on from ground to space (not 100% sure). But I was wondering wouldn't it be cool if we had the option of what type of war?

Like have 3 types of wars,

1\ Ground war (just the way it was before JTL)

2\ All out war of course (you see them , you kill them)

3\ Space war (this is what I think would be cool)

Space war would be just between the two guilds when they are in Space, I personally can think of a bunch of people who would like to do this type of fighting with out having to fly to Deep Space. It also allows for Same faction Space fighting.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think.

That sounds cool.. I wouldn't mind seeing this feature. Too many times have i been up in space only to find Tier 1 and 2 crafts. NPC fights are predictable.. it would be sweet to be able to fight against enemies of your guild.

Current, guild wars don't carry into space and only effect the ground. But, it has been a long time request of guilds to try to work in more options for guild wars since they are very griefable right now so I'll make sure I add this to the list of options we'd like to see. I know that strict ground or strict space would be very cool.

So how do guild wars work on ground? I mean does it make both guilds at war overt to each other?
Space war could be something kind of fun, having another level to battle.

Cool idea...

In essence yes, both guilds become fully attackable to each other regardless of factions until one side ends the war. Both sides have to agree for the war to initially start.

Don't plan on it

They are a little too griefable since crafters / entertainers also become easy targets.

Hopefully stuff like this gets addressed in the GCW. It would be great to have space battles by guilds and the ground and yet protect those who don't have a master box in combat.

...hmm....maybe only those who have a master combat box qualify for guild vs guild?

Ive been thinking about this idea for a while now...

If anyone knows about SW: Empire at War...theres a space component in that RTS....and some elements could very well be implented for the GCW/Guild Wars...
