I am very curious about faction bases. I know it can only be vulnerable for 2 hours, but if you get one of the bigger bases such as a HQ, does it spawn more troops than a smaller base? Also in you were going for a HQ, that requires 60k of fp, wow, what rank do you have to be in order to hold that many fp. I heard the only reason why you should spend fp on having a higher rank is to be able to hold more fp, is this true? Right now I'm a Second Lieutenant, almost at Lieutenant. Is this rank high enough to hold 60k of fp.?

You'd probably get better responses to this question in the Galactic Civil War forum. Here we mostly stick to the subject of how Player Associations work and how they should be working.

All HQ's spawn the same troops right now, and all quite useless since they are easily taken down, do not return to base, etc.
Need rank of Colonel since you need to bank 62,000 faction.
Main difference is with the bigger bases you can donate larger & more turrets.

I know from experience that the Field Hospital and Detachment HQ both hold up to 4 turrets, 3 minefields and 1 covert detector...
as for troops... well it seems pretty much the same but I'll try to count... there is a Forward outpost near by as well...

I am going to add my top issue to the 9 lot issue along with everyone else. I have a 9 lot guild hall and a 1 lot medium harvestor, so no lots available.
I have to agree with the storage issue as well. If I had 9 lots worth of houses and such, I could store a whole lot more than just 250 items. Even with my deposit box, space gets tight when you need to stock pile all those resources that I am pulling out of my harvestor. I have a guild member that donated 2 of their lots for a small house as a resource center to store all our resources.
When I first placed my hall I was not aware of storage being at only 250, and I was planning on living in it along with 3 or 4 other guild members in the basement rooms. But after I found out about the storage capacity, I realized there is no way that we can 'share' the hall as a living quarters. The hall is twice as big at least of a large house but has the same capacity? In my opinion the capacity should therefore be at 500 items. The lot/storage capacity ratio is just not very good. And with only 1 lot remaining I have no choice but to live in the hall, unless I can kife 2 lots from another member to let me live in a quaint little corellian house.
If the capacity was more than the 250 then I as well wouldn't mind the halls remaining at 9 lots. But it still is frustrating because the hall is pretty much all you can contribute to your lovely PA.

HQ is 42k FP and you need to be a Lieutenent... If you're an Imperial human anyway.
And there are the same # of NPC personal for the HQ that we had for our smallest forward outpost in the past.
A bank, medical center and a regular mission terminal also come with the HQ.

Detachment actually hold up to 5 large turrets, 2 covert scanners and one minefield.
