To prevent at least some of the mistells in different chat channels a shortcut key similar to ctrl-g for /groupChat would be great

Can we suggest this to the Devs?

I use /gu most, if not all, of the time. Can't get any shorter for me. That's 1 more char you press if you do a Ctrl+somekey command.

But I believe you can setup a custom binding for this. Check in Ctrl+O and see.

I use /gu too, but it's still a lot more cumbersome than a ctrl-key combo IMO

I have looked fora guildchat shortcut in the Options, but I couldn't see one. I'll have another look, just in case I missed it though...

Kansalis- I didn't know about group chat, but check and see how it's bound. I'm sure you can duplicate it to work with guild chat.

The problem is you can't use a standard in-game macro to type /guildChat before a message. It automatically add a carriage retun with no message.

A lot of mistells are caused by guild/group chat errors.

I would like to see a ctrl+ shortcut as well. Can't be that hard to add it. I've tried playing with macros to make my own, but alas, no results.

/gu is just so dang easy. I imagine any Ctrl shortcut would be low on the dev'spriority list.
