Thread: PA Hall Lots Mimicing PAC Outpost Rules
Hello Jascentia (SOE),
Right now as we all know a PA Hall takes up 9 lots for the guild leader, which some players that can afford it in-game have even used them as mansions (beyond the large sized homes).
Perhaps to tweak this exploit and also relieve a guild leader of swallowing up all his valuable lots this suggested solution could be used. Where when a PA Hall is placed it takes up zero lots like a "city hall" structure, but like a city hall that needs 10 citizens in a RL 24 hrs or it goes poof. This version of a PA hall will need 5 members to enroll within a RL 24 hrs. or it also goes poof. The PA hall would be considered a semi-public structure, this suggestion would allow a guild leader better flexibility in using their lots in service to their PA or themselves in-game. It would also cut down on the exploit of players creating a fictious PA Hall as a mansion home in-game.
I don't think it's an exploit for player to use the halls as a mansion, so I don't think they should go "poof" if they don't have the appropriate number of members. Instead, have a hall take up zero player lots if it meets the number of member requirements. If it doesn't, then it should take up player lots from the owner. If he doesn't have the lots available he should get an email saying the structure will be destroyed in 1 week if the lots aren't made available. (Similiar to a building a player city should no longer be able to have access to.)
This way, owners who are using the hall for an active PA get to keep their lots, and those who want them as a mansion can still do so.
