Thread: Change of Leadership

The other day our PA was seriously screwed over by out Guild Leader. Just before our city(not guild city, just city guild wasa part of) was suppose to expand to shuttle level our guild leader took up the house on his second character and caused the city to miss expansion. We thought this was a mistake at first but then we discovered we were missing 300k of resources, some furniture, 3 factories, and all the money in the PA maintence pool.

I posted regarding this strange event the other day and seeing as it has been 3 days and he has not responded to email, in game or out of game, and he has been spotted online once, though by a third party, since emails were sent we have decided we are on our own and he has screwed us. We want to change leadership to me but the problem is he owns the PA hall and I do not know if transfering leadership actually works.

Does anyone have suggestions? Our PA hall is situated directly behind the city hall and we would really like to keep the spot. Assuming he does not come back we can wait awhile and allow the hall to decay but we would need another one first and how long would it take for the old one to decay? If the leadership change does not work will he still have full power if we place a new one under a different person?

By the way, he is Larin and Eolab on Bloodfin server. Though these characters may not exist anymore if he erased and created new ones.

I'm not sure if allegience options work yet. I know its one of the things on the list to be fixed. I'd try this first to see if you can oust and then kick this disloyal leader out of the guild.

Probably nothing you can do for the missing money and resources. I'm sorry for the loss. I know this sucks.

The hallwill take a few daysif empty of maintenance but you cannot force someone to transfer the structure to you so you will have to let it rot and place a new hall. Those with admin rights can use the guild terminal in this rotting hall or a guild member can place a second hall which will act just like the original to use while it rots and get the building space back.

If none of this works you may be best off to just disband the guild and try again. Especially if allegience doesn't work as he may be stuck your leader or if he leaves you would have "null" as your leader.

Allegience does work so long as a simple majority of your PA declares for one person they will become the leader within one week. Even if leadership changes you can continue to use the guild terminal in the current PA Hall until it rots. Then, have anyone in the PA place a new hall in the old spot. The new Hall will be configured to work with your PA.

being a PA leader...i find that selfish of him. I am surprised you stayed in the guild.

I say kudos for you and your PA for sticking together instead of dropping like flies and losing the fellowship you've gained. Good luck with your new leader!
