I get to select five members of this community of people to come join us in the Sandbox. It is a special environment where we will have the opportunity to test the mechanics of the coming changes to combatundera wide variety of circumstances.

I will be choosing members who have been consistent and helpful toward the PA Community. I will be choosing people who have an interest in game mechanics as well as community interaction. I do wish to help bring a PA Leader's perspective into the question of how the Combat Balance will shape the SWG experience. However, I will also look favorably upon those who show a willingness to test the nuts and bolts of how things are working, or not working, and reporting that information in a constructive way. Ideally, I would like to choose some very experienced combatants/combat leaders as well as some inexperienced (but veryinterested) combatants. Both veteran and fresh perspectives will be desired.

Here is a more concise list of criteria:

- Must be able to communicate effectively, especially through occasional setbacks and frustration

- Must have an interest in experiencing and testing combat or combat support(healing, enhancement, equipment, etc) aspects

- Must bethoughtful aboutcommunity and PA involvement as it relates to the combat experience

- Must be able to spend time in the Sandbox

Post that you would like to apply, and include any information about your desires and interests. I will add your statements below to what I've learned from your past posts and perspectives here in the PA Community.I know we're a comparatively quiet forum, but I think we'll send a good crew to help out.

well, I cannot say for myself that I'm the big poster on the player association boards, but whenerver I see a qestion where I can provide help to, I do try. (not always easy as everyone is really helpful in here :-) )

All I can basicly say is that I spend significant amounts of time online, trying to improve the gaming experience for my own guild, about a 100 active members large.
organizing regular combat events is a part of this. it's not always easy to create good teams, as the system definitly needs improvement, but perhaps after this sandbox a guildwar event will be more fun.

I have been active in some testing phases of other games, and I do spend a lot of time in creating a feedback to whom it may concern.
Naturally I would test how the new system would effect interactions in/between guilds, as that's the main reason we would be chosen here.

Sincere greetings

I've never had the pleasure of being one of the first to test a game but testing new systems is one part of my job. I am a regular poster here on Player Association forums. I am not a guild leader but second in command of my guild and one of its founders. I help organize most guild events and anything the guild needs. One thing about myself I am very possitive. I do beleive that anything can be worked out as long as you have patients and a good plan. I understand that change takes time. So I would love to help participate in the sandbox.

I'd like to apply for one of the spots, but I think you already knew that.

My main character has been a combatant from the get go since it's hard for anyone with a PA Hall to run enough harvesters to craft(Until we get the lot problem fixed in he future). I'm well versed in that area and can easily spend a good deal of time on the sandbox.

Anything else you need to know about me, just let me know.

Well I post here specifically and on the boards in general when I can. But as for stepping forward to represent this group of folks, I humbly but eagerly do. I run a large RP oriented guild on Chilastra so I am very interested in making sure the guild aspect of this is looked into.

More than that though I've been here since day one and never taken a break. I've looked into every aspect of the game and dabbled in (in most cases mastered) every combat profession out there. A large part of my everyday gaming is talking to newer members about what professions they are contemplating, telling them what the strengths and weaknesses are, how they fair in PVE and PVP and what complementary professions may be.

Accept me or not, I am happy to put my name in the hat. And regardless I'm game to offer my help in any other way you may need.

I cann't say that what they are going to do with the sandbox concept will not be a good idea because it really is. Well I have been with you a while now Jascentia since you did some dev nagging to bring light on our troubled PA systems. I honestly cann't know what to say to get you to pick me but I'll stick my hand in the air and see if its noticed

While I am not the most active poster here i do often read what goes on.

A brief history about me, I am theLeader of the Hooded Nomads on Starsider(Ynnos old guild before his new daughter, He's that one up there with the sticky'd post.) Unfortunatly for me, due to game mechanics I am not the "full" leader on theGuild terminal. Moreover, I have way to much time on my hands, and am quite willing to spend my time improving the direction of the game. Right nowI feel the system is far too much top down, rather thangrassroots up which is i think what the "sandbox" is supposed to work toward.

Sadly,I feel that because thisslice of the pieisn't the flashy-estsection of the game, it has often been overlooked come improvement time. I am not a shy person, andI would definatly look forward to working and speaking up for the best outcome.

As far as being willing to test anything, Ihave mastered all 33 professions the game has. Some 3 or 4 times *twitch*.....

Jascentia, I am the Guild Leader of STORM (the Society to Obliterate the Rebel Menace), which isthe second largest Imperial guild on the Flurry server. Our website is www.stormbrigade.org.

I have served in this capacity foralmost a year, and watched our guild grow from a wonderful gang of 10 into a guild of over 200 Imperials and Neutrals. Over the course of the year, I also insanely managed to grind 29 professions to become a Jedi. Nevertheless, the real reason for my dedication to SWG, and my first love, has always been the guild and its operations.

STORM's PA Hall itself is situated in one of two key battlegrounds on Flurry, and battles occur almost 24/7 in the city where our bases are defended by a coalition of Imperials and attacked by most of the Rebellion.

I am keenly interested in the Combat Balance as it effects all professions across the spectrum, and hope for more PA interaction in the GCW and other aspects of the game.

Iam an avidposter on the boards andstrive for diplomacy, professionalism and courtesy wherever possible.

I would be honored to be considered for the sandbox. If you require any further information, please let me know. Thank you for considering my application.

Hi Jascentia:

I would be interested to provide useful, positive and creative feedback for the sandbox. I started and have been leading DAEDALUS since February with about 70 members. You can learn more about us at:

www.DaedalusPA.com

I have one draw back, I was never a holo-grinder and fell in love with TKM and Master Doc and have had those professions exclusively while dedicating most of my time to running the guild and just playing the game. I have tremendous PvE and PvP combat experience, however, it is limited to the TK profession. We are also active in the Galactic Civil War... including planning strategy and tactics but this is more player-driven versus game mechanics; but does require knowledge of other professions strengths and weaknesses.

Based on this, if I fit what you are looking for I woudl be happy to participate.

I'm not a very active participant on the PA forum, but I would certainly be interested in participating in the test of the Combat Rebalance.

I'm the guildleader of an Imperial only PA of about 166/90 members (166 names on the guildroster, 90 active members excluding alts on the August rollcall) and I've had extensive experience with most professions and with PvP (12 rebel bases destroyed in the last month alone )

Hi Jascentia,

I have posted here a number of times in the past. I lead a guild on the Eclipse forum. We are a combat oriented guild. I would like to be considered for anything that will help PAs in SWG. I am not quite sure what this Sandbox will involve, if you can give more information or a link to that info, I would like to read up on it.

I run one of the biggest Guilds on FarStar - currently 150 active members (did a member Purge on Saturday)

I have participated on these forums many times & would consider myself quite Combat Orientated.

I seriously believe this game would be far worse without PA's & their input into combat is extremely important. Guilds go on PvE hunts together & on PvP raids together. Team work is what it is all about.

I am interested in participating. I run the largest guild on Shadowfire with over 210 members. Anyone is welcome to review 'all posts' by me to get a feel not only for my involvement in the community, but also as a guild leader in general.

I have mastered many professions in an attempt to unlock a Jedi character. I am currently a master rifleman / master fencer but most enjoyed many of the professions I have since dropped.

Also, check out our website that I setup at www.mallonline.com/legend for more info. The photo album is open to guests... a large collection ofpictures submitted by membersfor everyone to enjoy.
