Ok, currently the guild system is...mediocre.
we can join it then get a tag. In my opinion we should make the guilds like GCW factions. Think about it. We could declare our position toward another guild as hostile and make all of our guild members able to fight theirs. now alot of people would be agaist this because it would make noobies vulnerable. I think this would be good because it would keep newbs from getting a free ride just for entering a guild.
Also if this were the system, a political atmosphere would be added to the game. we would have to pay attention to other guilds' stance toward us and our guilds' stance toward them.
Thats my 2 cents.

You should check out our Wishlist thread at the top as it holds all the ideas that people would like to see for guilds. While we do want guilds to partake in a faction, you can't make guild non-newbie friendly unless its an individual choice of the guild.

Um, Alliance, we already can do what you ask. It's called guild wars. Nobody does it because it leaves the crafters vulnerable to griefing.

"Newbs getting a free ride for entering a guild".. C'mon man noobs have it hard enough already. My friend just started the other day and asks me for traveling cash every day because he can't make cash in space without givin another 30 bucks he doesn't have to SOE, and everyone he asks for a bit of money in the starport gives him one hell of a cold shoulder because they think their 40 million credits made camping the geo cave makes them better than him.
Not goin' off on YOU, just needed to vent a lil, hehe.

Remember, every idea will very some and even though some things are on the wishlist, we can always add more depth to them so that when we get our chance for changes we can give detailed proposals for the ideas.
