The Combat Upgrade will.

When Combat itself is more balanced you won't be able to solo everything in the game and will need to actually work together with others again. The game will feel more like it did before buffs. Back when it was fun.

Rothin I really hope you are right. Particuarly the latter sentences.

If you haven't check out the Friday Feature this week. I think this will help assure you things will change in the right direction with the Combat Balance.

There is a really good link at the bottom of the Faction armor images that goes to the Armor Overview Document. I think that will explain a good portion of the way that the Combat Upgrade will effect the game, since a large part of the issues we see now are over powering weapons and armor. It explains the armor thing very well.

I have been at this game since inception, and let me tell you for those who weren't around at the outset. There was far more group interaction at the beginning of the game than there is now.

Where to begin?

We have moved out of the NPC Cities where people used to be

We have moved away from the old battlefields of Bestine and Anchorhead

With space ports waits going to zero and JTL we dont hang in the SPs anymore

With the end of PvE grouping for loot we have lost another aspect to MMORPG

And then the biggest hurt of all: Jedi

You stay solo, you watch your back, stay away from cities etc

The lack of new content has removed special events that used to happen often. Right now the DWB is the only group activity for PvE that really exists for large numbers of players

Ironically, the only groups I see anymore on Flurry are gank squads.

This is shorthand. I am sure we have all seen the erosion of group action. So how do we bring it back?

Give players an advantage of being in a group. I understand they already get an xp advantage, big whoop. Change the loot system so that all in the group get the same loot. i.e. If I was in a group of 5, and we looted acklay then we would all get 1 set of bones the same stats...perhaps different serial numbers to stop schems being made, also the players would have to be in a certain range or have landed a hit on the target to stop other possible exploits..

BTW Hey Jheball
