Thread: PA's accross other SOE Games

On thing that almost every guild has experianced is members moving of to other games. Now when they go to EQ2 we can still send tells back and forth to members of that game. It takes an ugly /tell command to do it but it is possible.
What I would like to see is that if a version of our guild is set up in EQ2, that we use the same guild chat. Many of my guild have moved on to other guilds or games simply due to the fact that the guild had become quiet. It would be nice to talk to the players that stayed with SOE and did not go to that other game...

I've often thought about things like that as well. I'll add this into our wishlist and see if it is at all possible. This would probably be something they wouldn't add / do for a while though since it would involve work in both SWG and the other SOE games so I wouldn't get hopes up too much but it is a great idea.

It is possible, although it is not actually "guild chat". My guild (Valor) on Chimaera has this set up so that we can still socialize while some of our members play EQ2 and others SWG. We have a chat tab named NVC for our guild, anything typed into the tab or preceeded by /nvc goes to the inter-game chat room.
