Our guild election has been running for over 2 weeks and so far it still isn't over. How long does it take for the election to finish?

I've read various other threads about the subject. I couldn't really find any threads with a straightforward answer.

Well i would point you to the stickies but the one i saw on this issue still talks about 51% majority which im sure is the old system.

But again i'm sure it lasts for a week.

Guild elections are supposed to last 2 weeks from when they start. I know the outcomes are buggy but this is the first I've heard of them not completing at all. They usually end with the old guild leader remaining leader. I'll be sure to report it.

I've read the stickies. No need to be rude. The threads I've read said the elections were supposed to last two weeks. It has been two weeks, so either they are wrong or it is bugged.

The bugs that are mentioned in the forums did not mention the time of the elections itself being bugged. They were reporting that the bugs were primarily related to the votes being incorrectly tallied. Must be those wretched pregnant and hanging chads.

Since I have not found any mention of the timing as being bugged, then the information presented is most likely wrong. Thus the reason I started this thread in the first place.

I wasnt being rude i was mearly stating that i would point you in the direction of the stickies where most of the infomation if not all of it is BUT the one I read did not seem up to date to me, it might have been but I only had a quick scan of it. If i came accros as being rude them im sorry i wasnt trying to be, just trying to be helpful.

The election finished today, 2 days late. So apparently it takes 2 weeks + 2 days right now. Who knows, maybe the cu caused the election to loose a couple of days. Thanks for all your help.

Yeah, that is very likely actually. Anytime the servers are down it won't count that time toward the elections. Very glad they finished!
