My guild is breaking apart. There's a lot of guys that want to experience more PVP action, and they've split off to form their own PA, while still 'hanging around' our original PA. They want to be able to declare PA wars without having our crafters get their butts handed to them.
I don't like this at all.
Can't there be a way of making PA members covert, so our guild can stay whole? Those who wish to participate in PVP can do so by going overt?
Even though we can still maintain contact with the guys who have split off, there's still less of a feeling of unity in the guild. It sort of defeats the purpose of a PA, if half the group has to go off and form another identity. I never hear from the members who have split off anymore. It really, really sucks.

A guildwar revamp is on our list of requests. Unfortunately I don't see it being taken up in the very near future.
Under the current rules I won't be engaging in wars with my own PA unless it is with a highly respectable (OOC) PA that would be willing to agree uponsome warfare etiquette.

Your PA is falling apart - doesn't mean everyone else's is.
There are lots with different divisions - the one i fight against has a main PD, military division with an extra letter on the end and then two others oriented around hunting. It has over 100 members in total. And I hate them for it!!! ![]()

That's true. Thanks Jascentia.
I know MY PA is falling apart, but I can see this happening in other PAs as well. Going by the word of another PA just isn't enough though, really. If it'sa big PA, you can't vouch for what actions everyone will take. It'd be difficult to not try to attack a rival PA member at a spaceport who just might be a crafter or a dancer and isn't interested in the PA war.
Just my thoughts.
