Hi, I'm the member that took the hit to my lots and dropped the hall. Even led it for quite some time but handed the reigns to someone that seemed more qualified then me not too long ago. However I am kinda curious as to what will happen to the guild if I delete this character. I don't plan on doing it for quite some time if ever but would like to have this matter settled in my mind so if the need arises I already know what is going to happen.
There are plenty of other members on admin and the hall almost always has a months worth of maintenance in it if this matters on any level. If I were to destroy my main will the hall be destroyed with it? And for themore pertinentreason that I"m asking this. How about normal houses? I want to get a medium lot swapped to me for my city but don't want to have anyone else on admin (ie the placer) since it is going to be the public crafting hut and have over half a mil worth of equipment in there and while I don't always assume the worst in people I'd prefer to know that there is no way it could get stolen, however I also don't want it to be deleted after a month since the character "owner" no longer exists.

If you cancel, it remains until they do a system-wipe deleting cancelled characters (which they have yet to do since we went live).
If *you* delete your character, the PA hall (like any structure) goes poof. Or at least it's supposed to.
So don't take the chance - someone else needs to take over the lots if you delete (and you don't want to make a lot of enemies
).

Right, thanks a bunch then. I don't plan on doing anything with the PA hall for quite some time but just wanted to be sure. Thanks.

Im in a similar situation. I had an Alt that placed the hall and served as PA Leader. Then after awhile I decided to let the ALT go and just have my normal char, I transfered the lots over to another guild alt easily enough but my ALT is still PA Leader! Trying to get everyone to head up and get to the guild terminals to set alliegence but Im just curious what would happen if the leader was deleted but the structure owner was still around?

If the PA Leader deletes their character this will set the PA Leader to "null". No one will have leadership functions until allegience is declared. The PA Hall structure will not be affected.

Hmm, a leaderless PA ey? Interesting. I may just have to bring that up for **edit**s and giggles. We have a very loose powerbase where just about everyone is equal to the leader so why not simply remove him completely and we're all in a hippie commune
