We are having some problems with a guild co-leader abusing his power and trying to dominate the guild. He kicked me out of the guild with no one's consent, and I was a co-leader as well. It's unfortunate, but could set allegiance maybe fix things and get us our guild back? Thanks!

Yes, you would need to have over 50% of the active members in the guild set allegience for a trusted member. Leadership will officially transfer within 1 week. Once a leader is elected, they canremove privileges of your wayward co-leader, and/or kick that person out. The official Guild Leader cannot be kicked out by anyone.

Yeah, if over half of the guild sets allegience to someone else, then that person would become guild leader. Basically Set Allegience is the same as voting for the guild leader.

With the voting, does the voting have to happen all within the week, or does it remember who you set allegance to?

Unfortunately I've never been able to get an answer to this from the devs. Does the PA Update wipe the Allegience slate clean? Does it only wipe the slate when a successful switch in leadership happens? I've received player testimonials that suggest allegience is wiped, and otherreports to suggest that it isn't.
