When can we declare wars on eachother, is that something we could see in the future? I think the option is there, but not really working propper.

War works, but it is rarely ever used.
Why? Because it creates constant enemy flags between every member of the warring guilds. Entertainers, medics, and crafters find themselves extremely vulnerable. AFK players are doomed. Players can be clone camped. In short, guildwar can easily turn into griefwar.
I don't suggest using the guild war feature unless you have clear Out Of Character agreements with the enemy guild that will limit grief tactics. Either that, or suggest your vulnerable players leave the guild for a bit and enjoy the conflict.
I have suggested enhancing guildwar by creating a new guildwar type: guildfued. This type would enable covert/overt flags for the purposes of guildwar. Guild members could visit the Guild Management Terminal to change their covert/overt status.

It's good to hear that guild wars work, I think we might try that at some point as we have a good relationship with another guild of the same faction who it would be fun to have a little guild war with
I like the guild fued idea though, so not everyone has to be involved if they don't want to be. I can see that would definitely make things better in cases where the two guilds aren't such close friends.

my guild actually created another guild thats an offset of the main guild, this is so in one guild players train, then when ready for war, they move to the war guild, just my idea

It works fine.
We recently had an excellent rp guild event where one of our members created an rp story as to why he felt betryaed by the guild. He set up his own guildhall and declared war on us for a few days. Since he was (normally) a guildie we knew he wouldn't kill the crafters and Ents.
Much fun was had by us marching around Theed offering cash rewards for info on his whereabouts
