Thread: Guild Halls disappering?

.Ok I heard a report today that PA halls are being removed if somehow duped credits were place in their maintance.
Has this happened to anyone, or was this a false report?

They are very strict when it comes to the duping of credits and will remove/ban anyone who did this knowingly. That would include items they possess such as a PA with a sudden duped large amount of credits in the maint pool.
It hasn't happened to anyone I know of since no one I know duped credits or even knew how to, but I wouldn't rule the possibility of this happening at all. If you cheat, you pay the price! Even if the PA hall poofs, the PA itself is still safe, just someone would need to drop a new one and probably vote in a new leader if the old one got banned for doing this.

Actually, I'm a guild leader...or was anyways, but my guild hall disapeared (while I was taking a break) and I don't know if this was due to lack of funds (I wasn't the one who maintained it) or if this was part of the credit thing...makes you wonder doesn't it?

Was it within just the last few days or a couple weeks? If it was beyond that it was most likely due to lack of funds. You may want to ask the one who maintained it, or ask that you be placed on the admin list to help maintain it in the future.

well heres the part i find odd....my guild still exists even without the pa =/...oh and the one who owned the PA quit some time ago, and since i was taking a break i have no real guess of when it disapeared

LordReaver, a PA hall is not required to keep the PA from disbanding. Once created, the server keeps the PA going and it will only disband if done by the terminal or the membership drops below 5 people.
The only purpose the guild hall serves is sponsering new members and allowing the leader to administer the guild. Anyone can place a PA hall in the guild and it will tie into the guild itself since its server side and then use it. So if your main PA hall goes away, you can always place a new one.
