Thread: Sandbox PA Participants Announced!

Perhaps I have been putting it off because I knew it wouldn't be easy... Though my fellow Correspondents would probably roast me alive for complaining, as I've only had to chooseout of 13 compared to their much longer lists of hopefuls. 
First of all, thank you to all who have applied and been contributing members of the PA Forum. If I was just choosing names to reward participation and enthusiasm for our niche I would've gone way over my limit! So, while disappointment is unavoidable, I hope no one feels particularly slighted.
For those of you who haven't already skipped down to read the list....
I have chosen fiveapplicants based mainly on the content of past posts. I have lookedformany qualities including good communication, willingness to help, ability to present new ideas, high activity, and patience. At first, the Sandbox will essentially be unpaid labor. We will be expected to give focused feedback on a variety of very large changes to the game. In addition, it will be important for every one of us to hold our tongues. We will not be allowed to communicate what we experience until the developers give the OK. Why? Because... If we're doing our jobs then very little we are initially presented with will make it live.

In essence,we will be encouraging the developers to shape systems for the betterment of the game. At times, this may mean backing off from a particular position and accepting the developers' decisions. At other times, this may mean holding our ground and working hard to convey just how important a particular issueis. I have tried my hardest to select PA-oriented players who can best determine when to challenge the developers and when to let something slide.

Sleep is for the weak. I'll do that when I'm dead!
Until then.. I shall test, retest, test and retest, retest and test, and keep going until such time as I'm happy we have a good combat system. I'll do my best to represent all those PA Leaders out there who love this game as much as I do and want to see it only get stronger and better for everyone.
