Jascentia is leaving, new player correspondent will be announced soon. There are large lists, loads of ideas, priorities, votes... from player side, us, there is much of stuff in the forums.

Now we should draw balance what actually happend from the very start of the game. It would be nice if we could gather a list of changes and guild improvements made so far and collect the rare information posted by the developers.

I'd be more than happy to go back through everything I can find and compile to list. It'll take some time though but I'm up for it.

Guilds haven't really changed much since they've actually worked from the start for the most part, but with all the ideas in our forum we should compile a complete list and comment on them again. Jascentia's suggestion thread listed most of them with a good level of detail though, so it's a good starting point.

I don't remember much ever relating to Guild Updates.

Problem is...It works butnot great, and not the way we like it. hopefully we get a Correspondant that understands like Jascentia did.

I'm sure we'll get a good replacement. No one will ever quite work as well as Jas did though, she was just amazing at understanding what we were asking for and relaying the information to the devs. I know that I shared her passion for it and we talked often about what we could try to do to get more information out to help those with the existing system until we could get enhancements.

I agree that it isn't the best system but it does work for now. I hope that when these other major upgrades are down we can schedule a major upgrade for guilds to really built a superior system to any other game out there and make the bonds we share in SWG even stronger and really ensure the future success of the game. Guilds are the future, we just need to keep building what we'd like to see and keep submitting it. I know that whoever the devs choose to become the new PA Correspondent will do that for us.

Guild Leader is the only "Profession" I've stuck with. Gone thru a lot of different ones....But I will stay with it. Even with a clunky interface. So many things could make it better...But since our "Profession" isn't broke...SOE doesn't see it as a priority, compared to the other broke professions.I understand...It's Priorities.

It would be nice if we had a better interface, being able to recruit people without actually having to go to the PA Hall. I was reading over the EQ2 stuff...The guild stuff is nice. Wish the SWG team would "borrow" some of those ideas....Just not the fee to register the guild. lol

The interface for running guilds in SWG is what I consider my arch enemy. It's very cluttered and could stand to have a lot of improvement overall. I hope and pray that it's done one day because the interfaces in other games are very superior in that aspect.

I think one thing that would benefit EVERYONE PAs or not as far as the interface goes is to have it funtion very similiar to the EQ/EQ2 interface. Allow it to be designed in XML so people can customize their interface and just let us know the tags so we can design our own. The current one could be programmed to work the way it does now as the default until customized.

I like the idea of the SWG interface, but I absolutely love the customizable ability of EQ/EQ2s. One thing I really enjoy is designing my own custom interface to fit my playstyle. If they could ever impliment that, it would solve all the interface problems as the players would flock to the ability to edit it in their own way and we'd see player fixes galore. Let us hope one day to borrow some features.
