Thread: What happens when everyone else leaves the guild.....

and leaves you with the guild hall?
Sent off a note this week to the guild leade in game email,, hoping he's just a rl college student or something that is keeping him away....
Haven't seen him since the end of october, I think...and looks like a lot of the others are leaving for WoW....
I'm holding the PA hall on my lots...and the town just became an outpost, leaving us out of the city limits.....
Just wondering what is a good way to do a nose count? Email everyone? Give everyone (including the guild leader) til Christmas to say something before? ask everyone to say something in guild chat???
Wanting to do the right thing, obviously, just don't know how to go about it.....

I usually use email as a good way to check activity. Just send out an email to everyone in the guild and ask them to reply if they're still active. Then give them a couple weeks and you should get a basic idea of who is active and who isn't. Then you could make decisions from there on what you want to do with the guild.

I'll try that first. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out who to send the emails too, since I live in the guild hall too!
Just not happy about being left holding the bag...or guildhall in this case.....heh.

I can understand that one! If you have permissions in the guild, you can send a guild wide email by putting 'guild' in the to field. You can test it to see if you have it if you're not sure. Would make it easier than person by person.

I didn't. Made a listing of names, checked off all who I sent messages too...and about two thirds had the original message fowarded to them (as I sent a copy to myself as well).....
Also starting to check out a couple of guilds on my server. Figure now is a good time to do a little shopping around...
The way I see it, if I get even just one flame back, that means that someone cares enough to be angry...but if there is no response, period, then everyone else has migrated on me....
but i suspect everyone's migrated. We shall see...
