Alright - first off, I did a search for answers on this. Secondly, all those posts were fairly old, and I didn't feel like necro'ing.
How come some titles are available but not others? For example, I wanted to give the titles to our "Guild Architect" "Guild Shipwright" etc. I managed to get "Guild Chef" "Guild Tailor" and "Guild Shipwright". But couldn't get "Guild Architect" "Guild BioEngineer" etc. Why can I get a few profession titles, but not all?
Also, how come "Assistant" isn't useable? I set my tag at "Guild Master", but then when I tried to make the AGuild Master's title "Assistant Guild Master" it wouldn't let me. And I couldn't set it to "Assistant Guild Leader" either.
I understand the title program uses the same restrictions as the name generator, but shouldn't there be more flexability? We're a mixed guild, and I wanted to have an Imperial and a New Republic Liasion, but I can't use Imperial.

Yes, there should be more flexability than there currently is. We've been asking if it were possible to make a seperate filter for guild titles, but as of yet it hasn't been addressed. It's a smaller issue than a lot of the other ones their facing, but post this on the Top issue thread I made and will make a point to bring it up again.

We use abreviations in ICE
CDT=Cadet
EN 1st= Ensign First Class
as long as your members know what there title means there should be no major issue about having the exact title in place.

I will post, this definately needs to be addressed. I agree that it is a smalll issue... but thats all the more reason why it should be fixed soon. Hopefully the Dev's will get around to it.

Just a thought, the word "assistant" might be getting bumped by the language filter.
After all, I'm in the Nigh&£*%ch, apparently.
Merry &£$%^mas, one and all, as Charles %£*%ens would say...
y'get my point?

Some ideas on how tocircumvent the filter. You can use abbreviations for long words like> Assist.or put a typo somewhere >Asistant. Short words can be cut into pieces like > C-H-E-F (exchange the minus if you like). Last idea would be the thesaurus (exchanges the word with another of the same meaning).
A good thesaurus is Merriam Webster Online
For Assistant it shows:
Related Word acolyte, attendant, second; flunky, henchman, minion, stooge; girl Friday, right-hand man; agent, attorney, deputy, factor, proxy; fall guy, patsy; co-worker, workfellow, yokemate
There is maybe something for you
