Hi, I left the guild I was in today to start one of my own. I already had a PA hall I was running asa mall, so thought I'd form my guild from there. I own the building, have declared residence etc... but I can't seem to use the guild management terminal..
Is there a cooldown period after leaving one guild before you can start one? Or have I missed something obvious?
Thanks

Unfortunately, since the guild hall was placed while you were in the guild that you left, it is currently tied to the former guild you were in. This is fixable though, all you would need to do is re-deed the hall and replace it and then the terminal will be free for you to create your own guild.
The way the rules work for guilds is that any hall placed will tie into the active guild that the person placing is a part of. Once you leave the guild is doesn't recheck your status, it only checks it when the guild hall is placed.
It's the only way to reset it and will probably be a pain to move all the vendors / items to redeed, but unfortunately not much else you can do.

What about just paying maintenance? When they reduced the number of lots, they said that you would have to pay maintenance on the PA hall (1cr would work). I believe that they said to do this because when maintenance is paid, it probably goes through a check on the PA hall and its owner. This might cause it to recalculate what guild it is attached to as well. It is worth giving a try.

If your PA hall was one of the former 9 lot ones and hasnt yet been converted, it is certainly worth a try. Though I don't think it would work, but it sure can't hurt to try and let us know for future reference.

I would think that the check is done regardless of the lot usage. But I am curious to see if it will work.

Depends on how they did the conversion, but I too am curious if it would work. Obviously won't work for most anymore since almost everyone has converted, but if it helps one person its a great tip. Thanks for suggesting it, I didn't even think of it.
