Hello,

Is there an easy way to move a guild from one place to another? We are currently stuck in a city on a capped planet that cannot progress. Our guild's decision is to move, but I have seen guilds that have to change their name and such to accomplish this. Any tips to help this go smoother?

Thank you,

Akevv

All you need to do is place a guild hall on the new planet that you wish to move to. You can take down the old guild hall first and then place it on the new planet if its compatable. The guild will not disband during this. As long as the guild maintains a membership of at least five people it will not disband even if there is no guild hall. So feel free to move. The new Hall will tie into the PA and everything will function like normal. You would then just have to have all the members move their houses and items.

Hello Rothin,

Thank you for your quick reply. The guild hall we currently have is one that works on Naboo. We will most likely be moving to Lok, which means the current hall won't be able to be placed there. The method you are describing only works if we keep the same hall?

Thank you,
Akevv

Nope, you can buy a new guild hall and everything will still work just fine. The actual hall itself is not tied to the guild, its only used for the creation originally and its management after. So you can byu a new Tatooine or Generic guild hall to place on Lok and shouldn't have any issues with no longer using the new one.

Glad I could help.

In fact, you don't even need a guild hall....but you would not be able to do any guild functions like sponsor new people...

Right, that's why I pointed it out when I replied.
