So I am the leader of a guild on Bloodfin called FBI. We were affected with the "elections bug" where everyone would get emails saying elections were open, yada yada, and the emails about "Your leader has not logged in...". These both ceased to be recieved about 2 weeks ago.
Today, I log in, and have two disturbing emails in my box, both that someone else has been elected guild leader. One was to the former leader, and the other to someone that temporarily held the position about 5 months ago... he is now inactive. As he no longer plays and nobody else in the guild has election rights, what are we to do? Elections have been disabled for about 4 months, so no votes have been recently cast. Any suggestions?
Thank you-
Rothin

So it shows as two different leaders? What does the terminal itself say about the leadership position? Who does it show?
I will once again bring this up and try to get more information on this. It's starting to get absurd.

No, just one leader... the inactive guy. My emails show two consecutive changes.
If i were to be player A, and player B and C are in my guild. Player A logs in, sees two emails. In one, player B is elected leader followed by another naming player C to be leader. I went to my PA hall, and looked on the terminal. I had no rights, none except to see that the titles I set for members were still in effect.

Yes, we had a lull in receiving the emails, then they started up again 2 days ago. It turns out I have to disable the elections at all guild halls. we have 250 members, 2 cities, 4 outposts, thats impossible. Now we are getting emails saying I am victorious, but I disable them all, or try too. SOE, if pub 17 did not fix this, which it wasn't in the patch notes, then please, fix it ASAP, or get rid of the elections till you do.

I had turned off guild elections and the next day someone else won the election and directly after I won the election. Now every day since, it keeps saying guild elections are turned on because the leader isn't active despite me being on every day and turning them off. It's getting annoying having to drive around to multiple guild halls to try turning them off every day.
