Currently PA abbreviations are limited to 5 characters, I'd like to see this extended by one to make it a total of 6. I know there are a lot of guilds on my server that could use one more to really represent them rather than trying to reduce it to 5.. may not happen but I can hope right?

I think after an Acronym passes 5 letters, you need to think of a better one

Not an acronym, but in my case for instance we use the tag <Rikan> in which our guild name is Rikana, that one more letter would allow use to use full name. I know a lot of other guilds in the same situation that one more letter would let them use their entire name or more of it to better affiliate it with them. I doubt it'll change but I can hope.
