Thread: Basement Access
I just experienced this in an NPC guild hall building, I think it was in Coronet... I tried to use the turbolift to the basement and it told me I don't have access to that part of the building... I thought to myself, "I want that for MY guild hall!" The ability to make most of the building public but restrict basement access to guild members would be really cool. Especially for Rebel guilds, who could use the hall as a legitimate front, with all the hidden Rebel things in the basement. Yeah.
Anyway, we should have this - be able to restrict access to the turbolift seperately from the rest of the guild hall.

This would be cool and useful. That and giving us the ability to use the roof, and of course increase the storage space.
That would be a really nice feature to see, the ability to set permissions on certain rooms. I'd still also like to be able to set permissions on containers like "friend" and "admin" so we could give out supplies to our guild members but not make everything accessable to prevent one from taking it all.
Hopefully we can see things like this in the future. ![]()
I think this is a really great idea. It would require a new game mechanic, and I know all players have wanted a better way to share their buildings for some time. For example, there should be "apartment" style buildings where several people could declare residence and belong to a city, while each having separate rooms and access within the structure.
If and When they put this code into the game I'll work to make sure it is included for the basements of PA Halls.

i would have liked to have a PA specific vendor for item distribution. My small house is getting a bit crowded with all the Guild equipment. We named it the JunkYard
