I think we are all in agreement that the whole guild management system needs a complete overhaul. That being said, is it unreasonable for me to think that we should at least have the members sorted alphabetically? I mean I would think the overhaul would take care of a lot of the problems, but we won't see that for a while. Personally I would love guild ranks and such (permissions based on rank, like in DAOC) but I know the devs aren't in a rush to make this any more enjoyable, but honestly my main peeve about the system is that it is a pain to find anyone.

Can we just have the list sorted alphabetically? How hard can that be? Doesn't it make more sense? It is almost as stupid as the truncated problem.

It does make more sense than the current sort method, which is the age of the character (as in, when the character was created).

The developers do agree that guild management needs much help...and I have proposed the ranks system. Yet, it is a matter of making it a priority when there is so much else to be done (Profession tweaks, GCW tweaks, combat tweaks).

I understand, and that is why I am not asking for the overhaul. I am just asking for it to be changed from character age to alphabetical. Surely one can't think of this as a major change? I can't see this taking long to "fix".
