As announced by Q, chat is now considered stable! If you have any comments, concerns, or congrats please offer them in this thread.

It has become much, much more stable as of late and have ony had trouble with guild chat one time in the last few weeks. I'm glad they finally got the issues ironed out and hopefully whatever causes it stays gone!

Now hopefully they can concentrae on other features, as well as improving chat features, as far as joining/creating other channels go, seeing who is where, etc.. etc..

I am a firm supporter of the way the Everquest chat system is set up with being able to /who individuals and guilds, zones, etc.. also with non configurable /shout and /ooc to the entire zone(Which can be turned on or off by settings, but default to on), and also the ease of use. It's much simpler than SWGs set up in my opinion.

Of course, this is all wishful thinking and while I'm thinking wishfully, now if they'd only allow full customizable interfaces via XML like EQ did.. then I'd be really happy.

Oh well for now, I can live with a stable and working chat sever.

The chat stability issue was my number one gripe with SWG. It was terrible. It has been much more stable over the past month. Now if they can only fix moderated private channel.

My second bigest gripe (now my first) kind of relates to PAs, but more to groups. It is the silly dissapearing bug.
