While telling someone who was joining to type /guildremove to leave his current guild to join mine, I accidently typed it like a dumby and left my own PA. How do I become the PA leader once again?

Sigh. I wish they'd put a confirmation box on /guildremove

Anyway... Get someone to reinvite you into the PA. Then, have over half of your PA visit the Guild Terminal and declare allegience to you. Within one week you should have leadership ability again.

ive done this myself, all i had to do was get a member to reinvite me, and after that i was able to give myself permissions from the guild terminal.

if you were previously the guild leader, upon getting reinvited, you already
have everyone allegiance, therefore you are already the guild leader, i did
this trying to kick someone from my guild, but no problems. Dont worry
just get reinvited into the guild and everything will be fine.

I know this is an old issue, but I did this to myself too. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as re-inviting someone. If no one in the guild other than the leader has the "accept" permission, then the leader cannot be invited back into the guild.

If no one other than the leader has the ability to accept, then you will need over half to vote a new leader so that they can reinvite, then switch allegiance back to the old leader.

However, if you do have someone else to accept you back, you just need to reassign your own permissions from the terminal(May take a couple tries, but it does work), then things are back the way they were. Typing /guildremove name doesn't remove anyone else, it simply reads the initial command and removes you from the guild unless they've made very recent changes to it.

Doh!! I still shudder whenever i think back to that dreadful moment of realization of what I had done!! I can still feel the shock and horror as I sat stunned in my chair staring at that message flashing on the screen.

And customer support didn't calm the situationeither. First they said to just get someone to add me back in. Well, that's fine and dandy, but I hadn't assigned anyone yet! Their next response was that I needed to redeed the PA Hall, disband the PA, and start all over again.

I'm thinking that hey, CSRs can give back items, homes, teleport, access admin terminals and do all sorts of godly stuff, why couldn't they just access the guild terminal and add me back on?

I went several rounds and weeks with them about that. Thank god that one csr knew his stuff and simply accessed the guild terminal and added me back to the PA!

Moral of the story? Don't ever type the /guildremove command within the gameno matter who asks how to leave and always make sure you have at least one other member with permissions to sponsor/accept!!

And yes, Jascentia, they really do need to add a confirm to that sucker!! I mean, that's just Programming 101 common sense for such a powerful command!!
