Hey, Im trying to start up my own Roleplay PA on Chimaera, however Im running into some stumbling blocks I hadnt anticipated.

The first is recruitment, when I used to watch my mate play SWG, he would be constantly joining groups in Bestine and meeting other Imperials, most of whome were really cool blokes. My problem is, the only place I can seem to find groups on Chimaera is Anchorhead, which is evidently not conducive to finding good, Imperial, roleplayers. Im feeling more and more isolated as I become more advanced, everyone seems focused on solo-levelling and grinding faction, the handful of groups Ive seen formed in Bestine were "solo groups" to pull higher level missions. This is during the servers peak hours by the way. I just cant seem to find any other Imperials to get too know, let alone any who I would know well enough to give a high ranking position in the PA.

The second issue is more logistic related. Ive been trying for days now to find Tailors(to make guild uniforms), BEs or CHs(to supply us with Dewbacks for the Sandtrooper unit) and Architects(to enquire about pricing for PA Halls). Ive tried browsing vendors, sending mails and /tells to people Ive seen on the forums, and even just using the basic search feature while Im ingame, and all I seem to get is a solid wall of AFK. Does anyone have advice on finding the best deals for these sorts of PA items?

Ive already got a website and forums up(although my web design skills are mediochre at best), but I would appreciate any advice, both on these matters and on general subjects, that you would be able to give me.

I don't know if this will help but Try finding some noob groups. Get to know new players do quest and hunting trips. Then do things with more experienced players. Yeah its hard finding hunting groups some times but not impossible. If you can go hunting with experience players they may be able to lead to you archies and tailors. They might even be in their guild. This will also help you form alliances with other guilds so just in case you need help they can be there for you. Thats all that I can think of hopefully some of it will lend you a hand.

Thanks for the advice, turns out all I needed to do was do Imperial Quests, hehe. Yesterday I went through Mos Entha on the way back from buying my new uniform, ran into a decent bloke who saluted me in the street, we got chatting and I pointed him to the website. Later that evening I was doing the Prefect Talmont quests in bestine and ran into another person in uniform, again, seemed pretty decent

I just hope it keeps going like this.
