It seems you can only place a vendor in a publicly accessible guild hall.

I am curious if you wanted to make a guild hall accessfor guildies only, and hence the vendors in them for guild members only.

Vendors can be placed only in public buildings. Thus, anyone can walk in and search your vendors and buy from you.

However, there is somewhat of a workaround. Place an entry fee on the guild hall of 50k credits (which is, I believe, the current maximum), and place all guild members on the access permissions list. These people will not have to pay the fee to enter, but anyone else will. It's a pain in the rear, but it works. Of course, it worked better when you could charge 1 mil as an entry fee.

Or you could hide it in the basement and not register it.
