Is it not possible to have your own quarters in the PA hall? I think one should be allowed to assign a room to a member. I mean - what if you're in a monasterial brotherhood or something.. No privacy!

Um, I hope you do not mean to turn a lovely PA Hall into a form of YMCA or Apartment/Condo complex, with a live-in Building Manager.

I could be wrong but I haven't heard of a Hall being a residental type. This isn't my forte (looks around, before being bonk'd) (then again, huge lot requirement, maybe it can be, for the person who plopped it down?)

True, in most Halls, there are 4 small rooms and one large room at the lower level. If you're a Sun worshipper, there's the roof to reside.

I have seen a few PA Halls, where they decorated the lower level, used bookshelves/amoires as "doors" ... (shudders at seeing a S&M style on Naboo with a BH friend several months back)

And having members living in the Hall, um, well, that would kind of put the Architects out of business, I'm thinking. And lessen the idea of players owning their own little abode of safety and security from others.

/em looks around again, then goes back to crafting before getting in trouble on something she knows naut.

Yes, that was what I was thinking about, he he. No, to be honest - the point was to have some kind of a 'bank deposit box', if you understand what I mean.

I have to say I had a good laugh thinking about the S/M cellar

It's up to your PA leader. Frankly, he probably doesn't allow you to do it, cause you need admin rights, thereby giving you access to the guild treasury.

Yes, the PA hall owner can declare the hall as their personal residence (and often must, as it is a 9 lot beast, there is precious little else to use for residence).

And yes again, it becomes potentially dangerous to add people to the admin list, as it allows others to withdraw from the treasury.

In my case, I've just declared the downstairs rooms as my private apartments. If this building costs me 9 lots, I sure deserve to at least that many rooms to myself. Now, if I just had a seperate permissions list for the elevator...

I don't know many members of my guild in real life, yet A great deal are admin to the hall and hall/mall.

Having members you can trust helps

Then again...

Having members you can't trust... Wouldn't that be a reason to kick them in the first place?
