I'm rather upset at the moment as the core of my second guild has just packed up and left without telling the rest of the members. I'm sorry I didn't look for the info I wanted first.

Sorry to hear about the guild packing up and leaving. I've heard these stories before and sometimes it's hard to see those red flags coming. Before joining your next guild, ask questions like what their exit plan is and is the guild dependent on the leader or can it exist on its own?
If I leave the game I have agreed to perform a variety of tasks such as transfer over the PA, have everyone vote a new leader, give usernames and passwords for our Web site and trasnfer over billing for the Web site (it's cheap).
Just some thoughts... (I'll keep an eye on my Nerfs!)

That's a great idea Atra. It is also good to have a second-in command or RL family member aware of these things in case something really catastrophic happens to the leader in real life.
