Please confirm if this is correct...
I noticed two members I suspected were no longer playing SWG have vanished from teh guild management terminal. However, they did not "quit" the guild not were kicked out and I received no e-mail notice.
If someone leaves the game are their character names automatically deleted from the guild management terminal?
Thanks!

The system is supposed to periodically remove deleted characters from the member list. As far as I know canceled/inactive characters should remain untouched.

I was just going through the pain that is updating membership rights and noted the number of folks that haven't logged on in months. While I still hold out that they'd sign-on, I would like my list cleaned up a bit.
If someone cancels their account, they should be removed from the membership list.

Ya, I've had some members dissapear off of the roll before too without being notified.
As for the inactive members, this is what I did: Since I'm not on at all times of the day and don't always see everyone, I sent out a letter. Short, sweet, and to the point.
When you get this, shoot me back a reply. I'm doing an inactive member check.
After a week or so, I tallyed up the results, updated my friends list (put "inactive" by their name), and also set their rank to "inactive" on the guild terminal. It has helped me keep track and up to date of whats going on.

If you want to find out who in your guild has logged in for the day, you can do:
/chat invites guild..guildchat
To find the guildnumber, you can do /chat listAll (lists all chat rooms you're able to join) one of them should have a guildchat line with the guild number.

I also have an Excel spreadsheet of guild members and make notes of when they started, how many weeks have they been in guild, titles and small notes abou twhen I last saw them.
If I notice a guild member has not been on ina while, I'll send them an e-mail asking if they are still in game. If they don't respond in a week I'll remove them from guild and send another e-mail why they were removed.
Keeping fresh members has worked well.... we have a member cap of 50 right now and if someone leaves the game we just add a new member. At this time we have 45 members and almost everyone is active. 45 active members is a lot more than it seems.
