Before any changes to who can place a guild hall, malls must be addressed. By far the PA is the #1 choice for malls. There needs to be an adequate alternative for malls. House structures just do not do the best job as the generic/naboo guild hall. Maybe make a clone of the naboo guild hall and call it a mall without the guild terminal is the answer. City hall layout would work nicely. I would prefer to see a new structure for architects with options designed to work around multiplayer used structures.
On theguild subjectI have not received an email or seen the option to change leadership or even vote. I currently own the only PA in the guild. The guild leader is currently on vaction playing WoW. I wouldnt mind picking up leadership until he comes back.

The system checks once a week. So sometime in the next 7 days you should be able to vote, providing the guild leader has not logged in for 30 days, but if he logs on even for a few seconds then you will have to wait 30 days before you can start to vote again.

so if i am trying to get the guild hall from an inactive player...it will take a week or less for me to get it?
i have the 5 lots and he has been inactive for more then 28 days...i tried to claim it yesterday and nothing happen...

That means he's logged in within the last 28 days if you can't claim it. You must also be the leader of the guild and he still be a member of it as well.

i guess i should then try the trick u told someone else to see when and if he logs on...so i should not wait for the next guild maintance?

Right, it only gives the option if he hasn't logged in. So if you see it, you can take the hall if you have the available lots. If the option isn't there it means he's been logged in recently.

Ok, we just did this on Infinity:
Maisaka was the guildleader who planned to pass it on to Kelsaka.
As Kelsaka owned the guildhall already she had to /transfer it to Maisaka first.
Then Maisaka passed on guild leadership using the terminal.
Kelsaka was asked if she would take leadership and the PA hall and said yes.
Kelsaka became leader of guild
BUT the PA hall was NOT transfered!
Maisaka had to manually /transfer the structure to Kelsaka before she got admin to the building.
Gosh that was fun!
Sadly I have to use the PA hall as my home and shop as I simply do not have the lots for a PA hall, a seperate shop/home and my factories. I have to use Maisaka's lots for harvesters already. If they gave crafters more lots then sure, I'll use the guild hall as intended but until that happens I'm living in it!

Yea, they changed it at the last min so u dont have to have the hall, but for some reason they left the fact you have to have 5 spare lot's to change leadership in.

If you have five free lots, you are the leader, he's in your guild, he hasn't been logged on for over 28 days, and it gives you the option to "Accept PA Lots" and when you choose it, it isn't allowing you to take it I'd suggest sending in a CSR ticket to see if they can figure out why and also /bug this in game.

okay so our leader didn't log and we got the messege, but I still can't register to run for guild leader... what is going on? like from what I'm understanding we will get the option to register.
Also another thing, we got the messege (PA leader didn't log)4 times. Is this because our guild members have 4 PA Halls down or why did we get it 4 times, just trying to figure it out

Not sure why you would have gotten the message so often, but to run you need to goto the Guild Terminal and it will be a 4th option apart from the normal 3 you'll see for Guild Elections. You can then vote, register, view standings.
