Thread: Player Association Top 4.. looking for 5th issue!
No, we don't! What if you are neutral, or what if you are in a crime organization? I am myself in the latter, and as you probably know there isn't any Jabba faction (or any other faction you can affiliate to besides Empire / Alliance).

Yes we do. The GCW is a system in place for those that want to PvP. I am not saying that I don't want guild wars fixed, as I do, but I am saying I don't want it as our #5 issue. I think there are more important things that we can be doing with that #5 issue then guild wars.
Also, guild ranking does not fit into guild wars at all. It is a completly separate system that we want in place.
I am all supporting of the creation of a Criminal Faction and a Police faction, but that is not what this top 5 list is for. It is for guild related issues.
So as I said, if we vote for guild wars as the #5 issue, I would vote NO. I will vote yes on guild ranking system or MOTD as they rank much higher on my list.

We each will feel differently on which issue should be our top 5, my purpose here was to ask you what you think it should be and why, I didn't want or ask anyone to debate their reasons as that only tends to make it harder on me to sort through for other peoples opinions and also may sway them to not reply so they don't get drawn into it, so I ask that we just let it go and move on.

Agreed. So what are the issues on the table? Are we ready to have a vote or are we still looking for idea. Other things I feel could fit into that 5th issue box would be
1. Guild Activity (letting you know the last time a guild member was online (this can be pooled into the whosonline issue).
2. Guild Ranking
3. Message of the Day
4. Guild assigned badges.
I tend to feel that ways of empowering guild members and keeping them well informed are our biggest issues. Guild Ranking and badges gives a player a sense of purpose (trying to get the next rank or badge). Message of the Day keeps members informed of what is going on everytime they login to the game. Guild Activity will allow guild leaders to figure out who is active and clean out stale memberships.
Please add these issues to the list 
A revamp of the Guild War system is a major project, and one I would like to see. However, we should consider that a project this large will likely remain on the backburner of the Devs for quite some time. During that time we would have one less issue to address, and most likely there are numerous other fixes that are smaller in scope that could have been taken care of in the interm. If you go over the current Top 4, you'll note that most of them are relatively easy for the devs to fix. Things like a command to change leadership or see which guildmembers are online aren't nearly as hard to implement as a revamp of the Guild War system, especially in the way players would like to see it done.
So consider this. Would you rather wait for months-on-end for the devs to get to a Guild War revamp, or would you rather have numerous additions and changes to the Guild system that make our lives easier? There's no question that Guild Wars are an issue, but something of that scope might best serve us on our wishlist, while our Top 5 list helps smooth the smaller issues we all experience.

We're not actually going to vote, I'm going to base it on which ever issue has the most individual people request it.

The GCW is a system in place for those that want to PvP. In case you didn't know, the GCW will be all-encompassing now - involving everyone.

So basically what you're saying is that you want something else to be PA issue #5. Fair enough. I have expressedthat I want guild wars to be issue #5. Hey, how hard can it be to just say what you wanted? You vote NO, I vote YES.
You don't have to try to undermine other people's opinions just because you don't share their view!
