The leader and guild halls are seperate. They should not be tied together any longer. Try having someone in the guild place a new guild hall and see what happens. If it works with the new hall, then we know its a bug of some kind and I can report it. Have to figure out what's going on first though.

Just to let peopls know about an issue that has come up.
Yesterday our guild recieved the e-mail about the guild leader being inactive for some time and that the voting system was now in place to elect a new leader.
After some dicussion, I registered to run for guild leader, and voted for my self, I let the guild know that I had registered and to vote when they ahd the chance.
Today I logged in and went to check if anyone had voted yet, I wan unable to see the new voting options, I logged on with my alt to vote and couldnt, several guild members said they tried and couldnt find the voteing option.
I sent a ticket, a while later I was contacted by a CSR and we met at the guild hall to see what was going on, he was unable to fix the issue, so he took down some info and was going to pass it on to the dev team.
I am to contact him on monday to see what the status is and see if it gets fixed or if there is more that needs to be done, so it appears that there may be a bug with the system..
Just wanted to pass this on,Ill post an update after I find out more.

I'll make sure I pass this on as well, it was working on TC when I tested it so not sure what happened. I'll make sure to mention it though.

nope, my guild terminal is still b0rked, a CSR tried a fix, still borked, tried a new guildhall, that terminal is also b0rked - we are screwed

Some confusion on my part and so far this thread didn't clear my head any further. This is my situation and I submitted a ticket and it seems this situation of claiming the hall is not working.
I'm a guildleader. I'm not the orginal guildleader. The old guildleader left the guild and people came and voted me in awile back. This was a planned leader change with old guild leader and myself and rest of the guild. The problem is when the guild was formed the owner of the hall was from another server. The owner of the PA hall was not the guild leader and never was, he just was the lot owner. He has logged in I believe 3 times since launch to move the hall. He has not logged in at least a year from my memory. The contact was between him and the old guild leader. The owner of the hall has no property in the PA hall and is only the owner because of a cross server trade. I'm on admin on the PA hall and I've been paying the maintaince for over a year.
I went to try to claim the PA hall lots to myself from the Guild Management Terminal. It was an option available to me since I'm listed as the guild leader. I selected the transfer PA hall lot to myself and I then get a box that gives me an option of yes or no to accept the lots. Inside of the box it tells me the owner of the "PA hall has not logged in in over 28 days and as the guild leader you can claim the PA hall. You must have the available lots" ect.....
I have 9 lots available. I selected yes to claim the PA hall. Then nothing happens. The hall never transfered to me. I submitted a ticket explaining the above situation and the CSR responds to me on how to transfer leadership. It was a wrong response from the CSR, because I never asked how to transfer leadership. Anyway I submitted another ticket. The CSR responds this time saying this is a known issue to them and the claiming of the PA hall does not work.
Now maybe that is so. I'm stil worried of losing our guild though. The publish notes on this is still posted on the main SWG site. It still is posted that the PA will be dis banned if the PA hall lots are not transfered to an active player.
I do hope this issue is being taken care of. I dont want our guild of 180 people to be guildless. If anyone can shed any light or any articles where a Dev posted this issue is being worked on, please share with me.

No where does it say the guild will disband, so don't think that it will. The *ONLY* time a guild will disband is when there are less than 5 members or the leader issues the command from the terminal to disband the guild. Those are the only times that will happen. The Guild Hall and the Guild exist completely seperate as far as the game is concerned.
Right now the accepting of the PA is bugged due to the last minute changes made to the system on Test Center. It is a known issue though and we'll see fixes soon most likely. For the time being, you don't have anything to worry about since you can continue to use that hall like normal until its fixed.

kk...cool. I did read it wrong. I believe it said the PA hall could dis-appear.

Only time that should happen is when its out of funds and the owner is as well.
The only thing that would have happened before the changes would have been the terminal would be locked and unusable.

ok well now the guild leader hasnt logged in. The terminal in guild info that he is leader, yet when i check the the guild members. It says another member is guild leader. And he has not logged on in some time either. So like i said before I got 2 emails about voting being turned on. So I check the terminals and got no option. (I don't think either possible leader of the 2 own the pa hall). And after trying to place my own and see if it works. I still do not get the fourth option.

Right now the voting is very bugged. It wasn't like that on TC, so i'm not sure what the problem is. The devs are aware of it and are most likley working to fix it.

That is happening to me too. Im trying to register but there isnt 4th option in the terminal.

All I can really say is its bugged.
Not much else I can do unforuntately. I've posted every detail I can get my hands on in the Corr forum for the Devs to look at and try to help get it resolved. I'll try to poke around again and see if I can find anything out. Believe me, I want this fixed as much as you guys do. I just wish these bugs had shown up on TC, but I didn't run into any of them when I did testing.
