how much warning will we as players get?

what i mean is will this happen on TC and be announced that hey you have about 2 months until this happens.

It will goto Test Center first.. but we've been told that its going to happen now for about 6 months. So I would strongly suggest if you need to, you go ahead and prepare for it now and don't wait.

I do not come to this forum much (as I have past the torch of PA Leadership to another guild mate) but I thought there should be something else added to this FAQ. If it is there and I missed it, I am sorry.

Anyhow, if you fear that you will loose your hall due to inactive accounts, any other PA Hall that is owned by a guild member will work just as the original did. You do not need to keep the same PA Hall that you started with. As long as a guild member owns it, the terminal will have all the same functions and all the current guild information is duplicated there as well.

This FAQ deals specifically with the Character purge and how it will effect PAs, it is stated in many other FAQs for our forum that you can hold multiple guild halls and them be fully functional and that you do not need the original. This however, is to warn people so that they can protect all of their halls if possible by taking action now rather than waiting and losing any hard work they may have put into the existing halls that would be lost.

It's not that PAs will lose functionality, it's that the members will lose the work put into the PA Hall itself. Such as decorations, trophies, etc..

Five more months have passed.

Any further thoughts on this coming to pass in our lifetime?

Just that it'll happen when it happens. I still say prepare for it now rather than wait.

At Fan Fest we were told they were working on several things to make the process easier for people before they do it, with things such as a way to pack up a complete house and its decorations and redeploy it all just like it was, etc.. So my guess is they are still working on those types of things first.

I'm hoping it happens soon.

Well, they got the house packing deal worked out it seems so hopefully the purge is near.

Yup, I'd say within the next 3-4 publishes maybe. They delayed the house packing feature until publish 22 to make sure it gets more testing time.

I'm glad they pushed it back even though it means more waiting for PCs to expand.I was picturing some nightmares with missing items after unpacking a house.
