I think that 9 lots is fair, but that other people in the PA can donate lots to the PA. So, a PA could have a requirement that being in the PA means you give one lot to the PA. Then players in the PA can be given permission to use the PA lots. 9 lots would be required for the PA hall. The PA leader can give back lots to people. If someone leaves the PA, their lots are returned to them and the PA has 24 hours to ensure that it has enough lots. This would fix the problem of the PA hall taking up too many lots from the leader. This might be hard to develop though.

Also, there should be a cap of100 items per lot. A small generic house (which should take 1 lot)can hold 100 items. A medium house should hold 200 items. A large house 600 and a PA hall should allow 900 items. This is what I want. The base number can be changed to compensate.

To me, they are both equally important issues, but neither issue is just limited to PA Halls.A small house and a medium house both require two lots and both hold up to 150 items. One is bigger. It should take more lots, and have more space to hold things. A PA Hall takes up 3 lots more than a large house but holds the same? What sense does any of this make.

This would make sense...
Small house = 2 lots and 80 Storage
Medium house = 4 lots and 160 Storage
Large house = 6 lots and 240 Storage
PA Hall = 8 lots and 320 Storage

That's 40 storage per lot, and keeps storage preportional to the size of the structure. How hard is that? This would also allow Hall owners to own a small house of thier own.

Anyways, since you are asking for a vote of one or the other, I guess I'd have to say lot sizeis more important. As it is now, the owner of a non-Tattooine PA Hall can not have a house of his own. With the introduction of player cities, this eliminates content options for a player who has volunteered to own his PA's hall. The lot sizes should be adjusted so it's possible for anyone who owns a Hall to also own a house so they can participate in player cities IMO.

Sorry to interject one more time but the above statement isn't exactly true. Only Tat halls take up 7 lots allowing for the owner to get a home and a free lot meanwhile allother halls take up 9 lots, however planets that allow Noobian homes let the owner have a home. The little round one only takes up 1 lot allowing the left over from guild ownership to be used up. Only we Corellian placers get shafted in that way. (yes we can also own a Noobian...but I want my home to be close to the hall not worlds away)

a nabooian small holds less than abank vault. 75 items.

Sure you can place one but you're better off placing a factory and using the inventory hopper for storage at least you get 100 items in that way.

item limit...if you guys are as close with each other as HYDRA is,missing the lots isnt a problem...i dont even notice...i share a house withan in-game mate and if the need for different storage arises, most of my members would poney-up the lot to help...and btw,i dont charge a guild fee or require any lots from them...they offer em...

yep storage.

im only just decorating my PA hall as we speak.

And if i can decorate it they way i want to becuase of storgae limits, well that is just crap.

It seems mad to me that a PA hall which takes 9 lots, only has double that of a Medium Home with takes 2 lots.

WHat was SOE thinking ?

My proposal would be simple.

50 Storage Items per lot used.

i.e.

Small - 50 Items

Medium - 100 items

Large - 300 Items

PA Hall - 450 Items

pretty straihgt forward to me, but then again, i think pretty normal and not like SOE!
