Not really true.
About 3/4 of a year ago I was trying to use /guildremove to kick a problem member and accidentally kicked myself from the guild (me being leader).
The CSR came within the hour, re-invited me into the guild (no member can accept anyone to join, only sponsor) and also made me leader once more.
Is this true? If so, it is incredible that we are operating under a false assumption.
Anyone able to check this out? Like....today?

Well, that is the ONLY answer I have ever recieved from the CSRs. You don't suppose they are replying with a MACR loop, do you?
