problem with that is... not every guild has a wesite to call tehre own. Owna doesnt have one and nor do we plan to. Our reputation in game is all we need for any sort of recruitment.

The mere hact that not every guild has a website is eoungh of an argument for the implementation of the badge ideas listed here.

As long as guild leaders could revoke them I think it could be a nice feature. I do think that the leader should be able to choose what the titles are and just use the same filters they currently have or develop new ones to try to limit the griefing. If not, then I'd still wouldn't mind letting the devs choose them for us as long as we can award them to our members.

I understand what you are saying CaviClutch and I assure youIdid think about this whenI made my earlier post. Websites are a guilds perogitive and I don't mandate that every PA needs to maintain one but it actually helps your PA more then you care to admit. I really don't care for the badge system in the game and I wouldn't care if they removed them from the game all together. Ireallydon't see a need for this when you can already do this on your own in a different medium outside the game.

You know lostkangaroo, i would love it if my guild had a website. Maybe i just went extreme with my earlier thought, but to some people hunting for badges is really fun, and it gives something semi-tangible for people to have as recognition of what they have accomplished. We had an issue in my guild when we were at about half the membership we have now of not being able to give someone recognition for there efforts for the guild as fruitfully as we would have liked. This badge idea has really got some potential behind it, and would hve made rewarding my members a much less daunting task.

Besides, the badge system (granted it gets into the game) would only be able to be controlled by the leader, so you could choose not to use this for your guild if you wished not to. Making it optional should more than please some people.

I think that it would be fun to be allowed this option, for those who want to use it. I'd also like if Guild Badges were put on a separate tab in the Examine window so that it didn't clutter things any more than they already are.

Is there anyway you can make this happen? Its a great idea worth exploring and investigating further with the devs.

Ask them to add a tab for every badge not just for the ones you wish to impliment as PA awards.

Can I make it happen? Can I drive down there and type in the code? Nope. Can I bring it up to the Devs and mention that we feel it would enhance our experiences of leading and belonging to PAs? Yep. I can only say what we want, making it happen is up to the devs.

I'd agree with this but only if the guild badges were only viewable by other guild members and didn't count towards things like "badge collector" counts. That would reduce the inscentive for guilds full of collector types to abuse this system by giving every single member every available badge. Also it would make it more likely that they'd let us name our own little badges, since they would only be viewable by our friends and allies. Even folks who wanted stupidly named badges could do it and not offend anyone.
