I can't claim to speak for everyone by any means, but as a councilmember of a guild... I'm a little suspicious of any member that joins us yes does not want to be associated with us. (i.e. Wants to hide their tag.) Now if it's for roleplaying reasons, fair enough... I can respect that.

Either way... on topic.

Thanks.

The guild(PA)systems for SWG need a major overhaul... they are nearly as basic as EQ's are... it's pretty much just a chat channel. It's only made more with a greta deal of effort and out of game participation and work. We need those tools built into the system so that it doesn't break the flow of the game.

out of the seven you list, I'd say they are in order of urgency from highest to lowest, however, if I may I'd like to add a few things...

  • guild (faction/city/race/gender?) permissions: would be good ............. ok but really..... I recently founded my first guild EVER - CoMET, and I noticed that in the entry list for the hall was "Guild:CoMET" which I assume includes all the members of my guild... I tried to put "Guild:CoMET" in the admin list too and it accepted it, but appears as "Guild:comet" in the actual list and does not appear to function......... this should not be hard to implement since the entry list thing is already there..... it would be VERY VERY usefull...as for the other things like similar CITY permissions... we could really use something like this too.... especially since I host a set of small houses in my city in which all the citizens are on admin....... we trade items freely in these two building (have to use two cuz the list only holds ~50 ...), but if I could put something like "City:Mos Elsewhere" on the admin list, I might use a large house and it'd be a whole lot cooler! [sorry for the super long bullet point ]

  • ability to 'drop' items on the PA hall 'roof room' (related to theater bug)

  • 250 item storage is simply not enough for a pa hall

  • please put guild titles in the examine window (should be able to be toggled on or off by the member)

  • put guild tags on members' pets/droids/vehicles/troops (i.e. "a speeder bike <CoMET>")

thanks.......... it really saddens me when I ask someone if they'd like to join my guild and they reply "why would I want to do that? guilds are useless"

great ideas, or at least bases to build in Guild faction perks and such would be amazing, and guild alliances would be very nice.

    • Factional PAs should have some special PA factional perk

* Being able to put out npcpatrols in PA owned citys/bases or around harvesters , players could donate FP to the PA that could be used to finance these npc patrols. Maybe even make it possible for PAs to own AT-ATs and VSDs and similar (could be used for defence/blockades and transport for big groups of player)

    • PA Wars

* Think it would be really nice if PAs could make their own "battlefields", maybe even make it instanced in some way to avoid unwanted people to attend and to reduce lag both for the participants and the rest of the server. This could be done by a minimim of 2 PAs agreeing to wage war against each other and a time and place would be set from a list of possible locations (Outdoors/Indoors/Outerspace/Bases/Mines/Caves/Tempels/Ruins etc)and styles of play (or modes).

What i have in mind is something similar to the Corellian Corvette (whole group would be tranfered together to location and it would be instanced) but it would basically be PvP maybe with a possibility to get npc support for FP, it could be objective based/capture the flag/last man standing etc, make the PAs able to chose what kind of battle they want to have and where to have it, and make them able to do so without interference.

I really think this would add alot of content and definatly would spice up the PvP experience alot. Maybe even make losing such a battle have negative consequences and reward the victors , this could be set by the PAs themselves before the eventtakes place so that even PAs with little money can participate.

1 - the devs have already said that the item storage limit is not pinned to the number of lots, so just increase the limit. Also, the ability to put things on the roof. Right now it's a total waste of space.

3 - We need MotD and other tools, such as automated dues etc.

5 - Both in-game art (banners, symbols on clothing, etc) and also being able to put the tag on vehicles and structures.

2 - Right now the titles/ranks system has no meaning.

7 - PAs need a place in the grand scheme of things.

I feel that 7 would/should come into play when they revamp the GCW. Why make our system work well with the current when it is going to be changed around somewhat soon and all the gains we make could be pretty much meaningless. So when we get more info on the GCW we should come up with what we need, how we should get it, and all of that good stuff.

As for #1, I say allow 1 PA hall for a guild to have 100 extra items of storage. [if that is too much for them then 50 items, I'm flexible (or go for the 75 items since thats the way the lots should work)] If there is only 1 PA hall (small guilds) then that one gets it, if there are multiple (large/merchant guilds) then the leader has to go and select the hall via a terminal icon or somesuch item to declare it as the "main" PA hall and so get 100 more storage. If this is too much then ask them to bother with the hassle of making them 8 lots (I meanan architect gets screwed if they drop the hall, can't even use a factory)or introduce a new small home that is 1 lot, for those of us who want storage/a house/not have a bedroom in the hall, placeable by anyone and in both the Tat and Corellian/Generic design. Oh and bug them about how Corellian and Generic architecture is the same and they're both crappy, 1 more nudge about that can't hurt

I have been asked to compose a new Top 5 by Friday April 9th. Thus, I have looked over our Requests Survey and divided the results into categories. Now, I would like to give you all a last chance to prioritize this list by category before I submit it to the devs. While a Top 5 is specified I may be able to squeeze in an extra issue or two at the bottom. So, please prioritize all of these responses (numbers are for reference only):

1. Guild Halls are a burden (PA lots can't be changed for existing Halls. I've asked. The reasons are in this thread. This suggestion will be about new structures and new options)

2. The permissions/titles system is limiting and unmanageable (suggesting a ranks system with titles that aren't filtered by the classic name filter which won't allow words like Officer)

3. We lack information and tools needed to manage our PAs (everything that wasn't included in #2 like MOTD, automated dues, officer chat)

4. We lack the tools to engage in inter-PA commerce (guild vaults and vendors with deposit/withdraw permissions set separately or by rank (#2))

5. We lack the tools to distinguish our PAs (implement colors/symbols/faction emblems for tatoos banners and clothing)

6. We lack the tools to engage in relations with other PAs (Revamp Guildwar, Implement Alliances)

7. We lack the ability to participate in the GCW as a guild (guild faction points, guild perks, guild kill stats and rankings)

Any other *large categories* I may have missed? Include them in your priority list!

Ranking :

4 (shouldn't that be intra-guild commerce?)

1 (is lot sharing an option?)

3 (MOTD is completely necessary)
