I also step down from the position of PA Correspondent.
It has been fun, and long, and fun again. However, I'm entering a phase of cutting responsibilities out of my liesure time. As I told my guild, this is mostly due to changes in my job. I have beengivenmuch more responsibility, and if I fulfill it well enough there's a chance it may at some point come with a pay raise. *grin/smirk* This has been coming for some time, and I've been in denial for some time, but the need to move on has only grown. For a while my account will have to lapse while I am invested (both in $$ and time) elsewhere. I'm hoping I can come back and taste the fruits of the Combat Upgrade and PA Advancementssomeday.
That said, SWG has always been a community more than a game to me, and I will miss it as such. It was acyberhome and a bunch of people to spend time withonline long before it was even a game. I signed up on the pre-beta forums right when they were launched and I haven't regretted a single moment of the past ~ however many years it has been. Now, I am turning my attention to other things. Thank you for your support and encouragement here in the forums. I truly feel this forum has had the best darn atmosphere of any of them! That wasn't my doing, it was yours, thank you for being a such a fantastic community to Correspond for and with.
As for my replacement, Rothin has become knownfor putting effort into this community, and I have given his name to the Devs as a suggestionto follow me.
Take care of yourselves and your guilds! (in that order darnit!)

Jas we are going to miss you. The little time I get to spend on the forums is mostly spent here. You have always fought for what guilds want and you are probably the best correspondent on the forums. Its always sad to see people who you like leave. Good Luck to you and I wish you the best.

As I said earlier when you told me this, I absolutely hate to see you go. You are by far the best Correspondent in my eyes and have helped us build a great community on the PA forum. A Community is only as great as those who represent it and you by far raise the bar for being a representative and I hope that all goes well for you in your future no matter where life may lead you. I consider you a friend and if you ever need anything, simply call on me and I will do what I can.
I am truly honored that you have nominated me as a replacement and I know that I can never fill the gap that will be leftas you step down. All I can promise is that if I'm chosen as your replacement, I will 'fight the good fight' as you always did for the PA leaders of the game and make sure our voice is heard. I've submitted my letter to the Devs and will await their decision.
This is a sad day for the PA forum but know that we will always be here to keep going to honor the memory of all that you've given to us and hope that we are able to finally see the dream of a PA Revamp that we and you've fought so hard for.
Best of luck to you Jas,
Your friend,
Rothin Skyshrine

I've just been nominated, I haven't been accepted by the Devs yet. I do hope that I am though because PAs are truly my passion in the game since I believe they bind and tie people to the game much more than just a profession or content. It's all about the social aspect and making new friends and playing with them.

I haven't said much in this forum, you've been great at answering all my questions before they needed asking.
It's always sad to see someone leave the Correspondent position and this is no exception. Thanks for all the time and effort you've put in, Jas.

Good Job Jascentia!
I just wonder why correspondents are leaving just in time with their insight to the new stuff. No good signals.

Most of the Correspondents are leaving due to real life priorities, not because of the state of the game. Others are stepping aside because they've held the position for many months and feel that a fresh mind will offer a new insight into the process. I promise it's not the end of the world with change.
