1. When was the last time when guildchat stopped working for you? (it was working, but in the middle of play it stopped)

this is how you fix guild chat

rightclick on guild chat, double click on server, double click on guild, double click
on the number( the number represents your guild), click on join chat.

congratulations, i have just fixed your guild chat.

1. Lost all chat except spatial last saturday night about 8:30PM PST (In the middle of a major multiple guild engagement. Ouch)

2/3. I have always been able to connect at login. One of my guild mates has not several times, no dates available

4. haven't tried

5. Chat seems more stable over the past week

I just accepted a new inductee yesterdayand she said that her guildchat was working yet me and her sponser (her older sister) could not get anything. I wish I could give more information or earier examples but I've given up on guildchat all together and just use mail or tells.

Last night (12/7) we had about a 30 minute stop in guild chat.

Haven't had this problem in a while.

Last night (12/7) when guild chat went down, it was for the entire guild. We verified this by sending tells to each other.

4. When was the last time you went into the channel browser but the guildcategory and your numbered guild channel were not there?
One week ago.

5. Overall, over the past week do you think guildchat stability has increased, decreased, or stayed about the same?
About the same. This problem usually arises at least once per week, but usually more frequent. We have grown to expectthat guild chat is an ever-breaking channel.

Not necessarily. I have had many times where the "guild" tree is not even in the list. Or if it is, there are times where our guild number is not there. This happens about 25% of the time that guild chat goes down.

2. When was the last time you were unable to connect to guildchat on logging in? - A long time ago...several weeks

3. When was the last time you heard of someone elsein your PA who was unable to use guildchat? - Sunday, December 7, 2003 in the evening.

4. When was the last time you went into the channel browser but the guildcategory and your numbered guild channel were not there? - Several weeks ago

5. Overall, over the past week do you think guildchat stability has increased, decreased, or stayed about the same? - It seems stability has increased, but there are still occasions where the same problems will plague guild-chat, just not as often.

And Osveato, that does not work 100% of the time. In fact, for some people, it never works.

What I've noticed over the months, is that if people can log off and then back in about 20 minutes later, they can usually get guild chat back, but have to manually enter the channel. So the chat servers are obviously resetting quickly, but characters are not re-included into chat, or for some reason can't recognise that chat's been restored untill logging off for a period of time.

Last night I get a message while I was in my second char looking at a vendor, that I destroyed the guild channel.

My guild uses TeamSpeak and everyone stated almost the same time that they have gotten the same message at the same time.

This morning when I logged in, no guild chat at all.

When I try to modify the tab, go into join channels, the guild selection is not even there.

Decreased.

Every night around 7-8 PM PST... all chat but spatial drops, get alot of those 'Somebody tells you....' messages. Wait about 10 minutes, quick relog and it's fixed. Like the chat server hiccups every night or it's restart is not aligned with the server reboots.

It's been over a month at least.

Same as #1, only a relog fixes it.

Following the events outlined in #1 and #3, the guild category (group too) is not present. Again, wait 10 minutes, quick relog fixes it.

Increased somewhat because there is a reliable work around to regaining chat.

A much improved system, but no offense, this has been a circular series of events,,,i.e.

Major Patch comes down from the devs we download it and let the problems with guild chat begin. The problem increases terribly and we even get a few days without it completely. Then slowly and I mean slowly gets better. Finally, it seems the devs have put an end to the guild chat problem. Well until the patch comes out, then we go through the whole process again.

Problems in the last week...none

Before two weeks ago I can honestly say that every one of the things you listed happened weekly if not daily ( if only even for one member ). However it has been ALOT more stable in the last couple of weeks.

I've heard no complaints lately about guild chat, I think it's stable now. If not, much more so than it used to be!
