What is wrong with health shot I/II ? They appeare to do no damage to the target. I fired these two styles on creatures of various degrees of difficulty and still the same...no damage.

They do no damage initially. Then every 20s thereafter they do the amount of damage that the initial shot was for and it bypasses resists. It may also bypass armor, I didn't test that yet. You'll see the blood droplets appear over the mob's head and the dmg of the initial shot will rise up in red.

It's known as a Damage Over Time (DOT) because it slowly deals the damage. Use it on mobs with very large Health pools.

HS1 and HS2 stack, so plop both of them on the bigger mobs.

I'm an Apprentice Gunfighter currently working on Pistoleer so I only have HS1, how long should I wait until I HS1 again?

I have found one shot does it but if you look at the mobs stat bar you will see a bunch of what look like blood drops grouped together as long as that is on that satus bar the mob is still DOTed(Damage Over Time)

HS1 and 2 do stack, but only work once. Once it hits the target, no sense in using it again until the bleeding stops. If it even will. Now, this is wwhat Healthshot does. It doesnt do major damage off the bat, it BLEEDS the target, taking away every 20s or so. Why is this good? Well... heh trust me, HS is cool, and one of the most useful Pistoleer/pistol skills.

Besides, it feels so good when an enemy incapacitates you, and you know they are going to finish you off, they come near, and BAM! They bleed to death. That never gets old.

Keep in mind that while you can't stack multiple HS2s on a mob you can overwrite the previous HS2 with a better one. If you start out and get a 100 point HS2 you can shoot again and if it is better (like say a 675, my personal best) it will overwrite the lower one.
